Professor
Kwan Hoi-shan is the Professor of the School of Life Sciences
of the Chinese University
of Hong Kong. His research interests range
from food and nutritional science, food microbiology to molecular
biotechnology. He is also actively involved in promoting the advancement of
food technology and accreditation development in local food industry. He has
been the Chairman of the Expert Committee on Food Safety since 2006.

Connie Lau Yin-hing
Ms.
Connie Lau, Member of the Expert Committee on Food Safety of the Centre for
Food Safety, is the Chief Executive of the Consumer Council of Hong Kong. Ms.
Lau is also the Council and Executive Member of the Consumers International, a
world federation of consumer bodies as well as the only independent and
authoritative global voice for consumers.

Chan Pui-Kwong
Dr.
Chan Pui-Kwong is a medical specialist in community
medicine and is in private practice. He is the chairman of the Epidemics
Committee of the Hong Kong Doctors Union. He is a member of the Scientific
Committee on Enteric Infections and Foodborne
Diseases of the Centre for Health Protection, as well as the Expert Committee
on Food Safety of the Centre for Food Safety.

Jonathan Wong Woon-chung
Professor
Jonathan Wong is the Professor of the Department of Biology of Hong Kong Baptist University.
His research
interests are many, including that on organic farming and development of
organic standards and certification systems as well as related guidelines. He
is a member of the Expert Committee on Food Safety of the Centre for Food
Safety. |
